Outstanding in the field follows Jim Denevan, the nomadic chef, as he drives across the country creating a culinary adventure with long tables that seat as many as 200 guests. Interviews with leading chefs are interspersed with Jim’s contemplation of his upbringing, a place where artistic genius was a companion to severe mental illness: and where his only solace in nature developed into a passion to create monumental land art.
